Ashley Boyd began her career in the publishing industry at HarperCollins. She was promoted to Senior Editor of HarperTeen's YA imprint, HarperCollins Children's Books, before leaving to become an independent editor. Ashley is the author of five novels, including The Invisible by Erin Bowman, which was a finalist for the National Book Award. Her debut YA novel, The Circle by Karen Healey, was an ALA Quick Pick for Reluctant Readers and was named one of Kirkus Reviews Best Teen Books of 2015
Ashley has contributed to The New York Times Magazine, Newsweek, Marie Claire, Elle, Seventeen, Women's Health, Women's World Magazine and more. Ashley has taught creative writing at Columbia University's MFA program. She currently lives in Brooklyn with her husband and son.
